Business Data Analyst

About the Role

The Business Data Analyst (Fresher) will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data across financial, legal, and software solution domains. This full-time hybrid role is based in Pune City, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing reports and dashboards.
• Performing basic data analysis.
• Assisting in data modeling to support business operations and client projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Validating data accuracy.
• Presenting findings in a clear, structured manner.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives by identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities based on data insights.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge of data analytics to interpret business data and identify trends.
• Basic understanding of statistics to perform descriptive analysis and support data-driven recommendations.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts to assist in designing simple data structures and reporting frameworks.
• Effective communication skills to present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or basic BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
• Ability to learn quickly, work with structured and unstructured data, and maintain attention to detail.
• Interest in financial services, legal compliance, or software solutions and willingness to grow in a multidisciplinary environment.
