About the Role

The Fashion Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. Team members join a growing fashion brand that values craftsmanship, innovation, and a modern approach to retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their style preferences.
• Provide personalized recommendations on fabrics, fits, and designs for custom and ready-made products.
• Conduct product demonstrations.
• Guide customers through measurements and customization options.
• Ensure a smooth end-to-end in-store experience.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets.
• Accurately process orders and payments.
• Stay updated on current fashion trends and Bombay Shirt Company’s product range to deliver informed, high-quality style advice.

Qualifications

• Strong Product Knowledge and Fashion Consulting skills, with the ability to advise on fit, fabrics, styling, and customization options.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, build rapport, and deliver a premium in-store experience.
• Sales skills, including comfort with meeting sales goals, suggesting complementary items, and handling in-store promotions.
• Previous experience in fashion retail, luxury or premium apparel, or personal styling is preferred.
• Attention to detail, professional presentation, and a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, including weekends and retail peak hours as required.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and order management tools; comfort with using mobile and web applications.
• Educational background in Fashion, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
