About the Role

As a Data Protection Senior Associate at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will help businesses navigate the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information. You will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others, navigating increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand, and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality work. You will leverage your skills within our Strategy Consulting practice to provide comprehensive legal solutions and advice to internal stakeholders and clients, maintaining compliance with regulations and minimizing legal risks, providing strategic guidance and support across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients across various industries
• Conducting privacy impact assessments and developing privacy policies to safeguard personal information
• Implementing data protection measures to confirm compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Analyzing complex privacy and data protection requirements to deliver tailored solutions for clients
• Collaborating with clients to navigate the evolving landscape of privacy regulations and data protection standards
• Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
• Upholding professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
• Mentoring junior team members in understanding privacy law and data protection practices
• Engaging in continuous learning to enhance skills in cybersecurity and privacy compliance
• Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs to deliver quality service

Requirements & Tech Stack

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Law, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Statistics, Systems Engineering
