Structural Mechanics Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic stress analysis of components and equipment subjected to pressure, thermal, wind, seismic, and other loadings using ANSYS.
• Determine natural frequencies using commercial analysis software and/or in-house developed tools.
• Analyze rotor dynamic behavior using commercial software and/or in-house developed tools.
• Perform analyses in accordance with applicable international codes, standards, and customer-specific requirements.
• Prepare analysis reports as technical documentation for client submission.
• Recommend design modifications, improvements to design, and construction engineers based on analytical findings.
• Develop new or modify existing software/firmware tools required for structural and rotor dynamic analysis.
• Work independently or under partial/full technical guidance, depending on project requirements.
• Regularly communicate project status and progress updates to clients and other stakeholders.
• Travel domestically / internationally to customers, manufacturing, testing, and operational sites as required by project and customer needs.
