Business Operations Analyst-Associate

About the Role

The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provides support to HQ and global regional teams on Finance & Business Operation activities. This role focuses on business operations related activities, including Sales Incentive Planning and reporting, forecasting, basic analysis and report insights, and monetization of services.

General Summary

This role is responsible for internal support to HQ, Sales Teams, and customer service, enabling them to resolve issues or stay updated using Salesforce. The position provides world-class support regarding Qualcomm’s products and services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering and cultivating excellent internal support throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed sales performance reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with various departments, such as sales, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
• Maintain and optimize the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and integrity, supporting sales activities with reliable information.
• Develop a fair understanding of Monetization of business processes.
• Work closely with HQ and global region teams with regular interaction for reviews, transition calls, and process documentation for all activities.
• Required to take evening calls for reviews and transition of activities.
• Perform additional ad hoc business operations activities from time to time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• 1 to 3 years relevant industry experience in business analyst & operations activities.
• Excellent Advance Excel Skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.
• Experience with Incentive reporting and analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskill with tools like Tableau, Power BI.
• Flexible for evening calls (8 PM – 11 PM IST) for HQ reviews and transition calls on a regular basis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science / B Tech / Commerce / Economics and/or,
• Diploma in Business Analytics
• Business Administration from a reputed B-school.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 2+ years of business operations or related experience.

OR

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of business operations or related experience.
