About the Role
Global Wire Exchange is a specialized marketplace focused on all types of industrial and manufacturing wires, primarily serving the B2B sector. The platform connects manufacturers and businesses with wire products tailored to their specific technical and production requirements.
This is a remote internship role for a Caller at Global Wire Exchange. The Caller will engage with potential and existing business clients via phone to introduce the company’s services, gather requirements for customized wire solutions, and explain how the marketplace operates.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to potential and existing business clients.
- Respond to inbound inquiries.
- Gather requirements for customized wire solutions.
- Explain how the marketplace operates.
- Document client needs.
- Update call records in internal systems or spreadsheets.
- Schedule follow-up calls.
- Share basic product information.
- Coordinate with the sales or operations team when more detailed technical discussions are needed.
- Maintain a professional tone.
- Meet calling targets.
- Provide clear, accurate information to support a positive client experience.
- Comfortable with US Timings.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Active listening abilities.
- Clear, professional phone presence.
- Basic customer service skills (empathy, patience, ability to handle questions/concerns).
- Organizational skills: accurate record-keeping, time management, attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy: familiarity with spreadsheets, online communication tools, and CRM or call-logging systems (or willingness to learn).
- Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Prior exposure to B2B sales, tele-calling, or industrial products is beneficial but not required.
- A strong interest in learning about manufacturing and supply chains is preferred.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
