About the Role
- Work in backend and AI systems.
- Fix real bugs, build features that reach production.
- Use AI coding tools every day while staying responsible for the code you ship.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend APIs and services.
- Find and fix bugs, including tracing them to their root cause.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Design and work with databases.
- Use AI coding assistants, and review and test what they produce.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of at least one backend programming language.
- Understanding of REST APIs and how backend services work.
- Basic database and SQL knowledge.
- Comfort with Git and GitHub.
- At least one backend project you built or substantially contributed to.
Nice to Have
- Experience with any backend framework.
- Writing automated tests.
- Docker and Linux basics.
- Experience building with LLM APIs.
- Open-source contributions.
