Role Overview

We are hiring a Cyber Security Intern for a 1 to 3-month full-time remote role. This position involves monitoring system alerts, assisting in vulnerability assessments, analyzing security logs, and supporting the maintenance of secure digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security event logs, alerts, and potential incident notifications across systems.
• Assist in conducting routine vulnerability scans and basic configuration reviews.
• Analyze network traffic patterns to identify suspicious activities or unauthorized access attempts.
• Document security findings, threat reports, and remediation steps for the technical team.
• Support the implementation and compliance checks of standard cybersecurity protocols.

Requirements

• Degree or ongoing studies in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Freshers welcome).
• Working understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and operating system security (Linux/Windows).
• Foundational knowledge of core security concepts, common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), and basic penetration testing tools.
• Basic familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite) is an advantage.
• Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Compensation & Details

• Stipend: ₹14,000 – ₹15,000 per month
• Duration: 1 to 3 Months
• Work Mode: Remote (India)
• Certificate: Internship completion certificate upon successful project delivery.
