About the Role

This remote Backend Developer Intern role offers hands-on experience contributing to the development of server-side components and APIs that power client solutions. This is an internship position designed to support learning and skill development while contributing to real client projects in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing clean, maintainable backend code.
• Implementing and testing application logic.
• Integrating databases and external services under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support MVP builds, digital products, and AI-driven solutions.
• Assisting with documentation.
• Debugging issues.
• Participating in code reviews to learn best practices in modern software development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong foundation in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Skills in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks and API development.
• Basic exposure to Software Development practices such as version control, testing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with Front-End Development sufficient to collaborate on full-stack features.
• Working knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
