Packaging Designer

About the Role

This is a Packaging Designer internship, a hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The intern will support the design and development of packaging concepts for men’s belts and accessories, translating brand guidelines into visually appealing, functional packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Create design layouts for packaging.
• Prepare print-ready files.
• Refine packaging structures with product and operations teams.
• Ensure consistency with brand standards.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and marketers on branding elements.
• Assist with typography and label design.
• Coordinate with vendors to align final outputs with design specifications.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or similar).
• Familiarity with dielines and print specifications.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Mumbai.
• Ability to manage deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Packaging Design and Product Design, with an understanding of materials, structures, and print processes.
• Skills in Branding and Graphic Design to translate brand identity into cohesive visual packaging systems.
• Skills in Typography, with the ability to create clear, attractive text layouts for labels and packaging.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Strong visual storytelling skills.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
