About the Role
This position is part of the Regional Training Institute located at Fort Carson Army Base. The role is responsible for the cleaning of several facilities and performing custodial duties to ensure facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. May be required to work outside of normal business hours during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting lavatories, sinks, and drinking fountains
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets
- Collecting and removing trash
- Spot cleaning walls and other surfaces
- Cleaning windows, ledges, and blinds
- Reordering and replacing cleaning supplies
- Replenishing and restocking paper products, soap, and other supplies as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness of entrance, exit, and common areas
- Assisting during snow/weather emergencies by ensuring floors are dry and securing mat placement
- Ensuring supplies and materials are stored in a safe and orderly manner
- Reporting maintenance issues, equipment in need of repair, building or facility damage
- Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications
- Six (6) months of relevant professional custodial experience.
- Must be a resident of the State of Colorado at the time of submitting your application.
