Education Counselor

About the Role

The Education Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon at Shiksolve Education LLP. The role involves engaging with working professionals to understand their backgrounds, career goals, and challenges, and recommending appropriate educational programs and skill-building opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct counseling sessions (in-person and telephonic).
• Assess individual needs.
• Provide information on learning pathways.
• Guide learners through decision-making and enrollment processes.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling interactions.
• Follow up with prospective learners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve counseling strategies and service quality.
• Contribute to outreach activities.
• Participate in events or webinars.
• Provide feedback on emerging trends in professional education and training.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Digital tools and CRM systems for managing inquiries, tracking interactions, and generating reports.

Qualifications

• Strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge.
• Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex options in simple terms.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust with diverse professionals.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet counseling and conversion targets.
• Relevant experience in academic advising, training and development, or counseling for working professionals is beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
