Female Caregiver / Home Care Aide

About the Role

Nurse Next Door is seeking a Female Caregiver / Home Care Aide for a Part time / Full time position in Pacifica, CA. The role is available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Performing household services including housekeeping and laundry.
• Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
• Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
• Completing records regarding services performed.
• Driving to appointments or to run errands.
• Accurately records all hours worked.
• Remains alert throughout the shift and responds immediately to client needs.
• Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
• Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to commute to Pacifica, CA (Required).
• Ability to relocate to Pacifica or nearby areas before starting work (Required).
• Shift Availability: Overnight Shift.

Qualifications

• Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau.
