About the Role
The Skin Therapist at Devam Hospital is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ skin conditions, discuss concerns and treatment goals, and recommend appropriate clinical and therapeutic skincare procedures.
- Perform treatments such as facials, peels, and advanced skin therapies as per protocols.
- Advise on home-care regimens and products.
- Maintain detailed treatment records.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with dermatologists and other clinicians.
- Ensure a comfortable, respectful experience for every patient.
- Support patient education.
- Assist with equipment upkeep.
- Contribute to quality standards and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Formal training or certification in cosmetology, skin therapy, aesthetics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy and common dermatological conditions.
- Hands-on experience performing clinical or aesthetic skin treatments (e.g., facials, peels, acne care, pigmentation treatments) in a hospital, clinic, or professional skincare setting.
- Ability to conduct thorough skin assessments, document patient history and treatment plans accurately, and follow medical and safety protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to hygiene and infection control standards.
- Comfort working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records, appointments, and reports.
- Familiarity with hospital or clinic management systems is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a hospital or dermatology clinic in Ahmedabad or similar urban setting is preferred but not mandatory.
