About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Content Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Content Editor will review, refine, and edit medical and health-related scripts to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand and scientific standards. The role involves conducting research to verify medical information, applying editorial guidelines, and optimizing content for different platforms and audiences. The Content Editor will also support content management tasks such as organizing assets, maintaining version control, and contributing to continuous improvement of style guides and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, refine, and edit medical and health-related scripts.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand and scientific standards.
• Conduct research to verify medical information.
• Apply editorial guidelines.
• Optimize content for different platforms and audiences.
• Support content management tasks, including organizing assets and maintaining version control.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of style guides and processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Editorial skills (content review, language refinement, adherence to style and quality guidelines).
• Content management skills (organizing digital assets, tracking versions, supporting structured workflows).
• Writing skills to adapt complex medical concepts into clear, audience-friendly text.
• Research skills to validate medical information, check references, and ensure scientific accuracy.
• Proficiency in English.
• An interest in medical animation and visual storytelling is highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications such as a Masters in Life Sciences, Microbiology are beneficial.
• Experience in medical or scientific publishing, health communication, or e-learning content development is an advantage.
