The Role

We are looking for a digital marketing intern to help students and parents find Shreyapatha before the 2027 admission season. You will work directly with the founders and see your work go live within days.

Key Responsibilities

• Make two or three short reels a week for Instagram and YouTube Shorts, explaining admissions in simple terms (e.g., “BCom vs BBA in 30 seconds”), in Kannada, English, or both.
• Post new articles on the Shreyapatha WhatsApp channel and Instagram.
• Turn articles into carousels, posters, and short scripts.
• Reply to comments and messages, and pass counselling enquiries to the team.
• Track weekly performance: views, clicks, and enquiries by channel.
• Suggest topics students are actively searching for.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Working knowledge of digital marketing: social media marketing, content planning, basic SEO, and how hashtags, captions, and posting times affect reach.
• Hands-on experience running or growing an Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook page.
• Ability to read basic insights: reach, views, clicks, and follower growth.
• Comfortable making reels in Instagram, CapCut, or a similar editor.
• Comfortable designing posts in Canva.
• Good written English.
• Reliable with deadlines and careful with facts.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate or postgraduate student (BBA, BCom, MBA, BMS, mass communication, or similar), aged 18 or above.
• Spoken and written Kannada is a strong plus.
• Good to have: a digital marketing course or certificate (e.g., Google’s free Digital Marketing and E-commerce course, Meta Blueprint, or HubSpot).
• Good to have: familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, or WhatsApp Business.

Terms

• Unpaid internship, 3 months.
• About 10 to 12 hours a week.
• Hybrid: mostly remote, with occasional meetings in Malleswaram, Bengaluru.
• Flexible hours around classes.
• Internship certificate and letter of recommendation upon good completion.
• Your work credited to you for your portfolio.
• Hands-on experience with content, SEO, analytics, and a live start-up website.
