Civil Draftsman

About the Role

The Civil Draftsman role at Moments & Cantilevers is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Civil Draftsman will prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and technical plans for structural, architectural, and infrastructure projects, based on inputs from engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and technical plans.
• Create and update CAD drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordinate with design and site teams to incorporate revisions and clarifications.
• Organize drawing sets.
• Maintain documentation and version control.
• Support project planning by providing clear, precise layouts and details.
• Contribute to design reviews.
• Assist in resolving drawing-related queries.
• Help ensure that construction teams have accurate information for timely project execution.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, similar tools) for preparing and modifying civil and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of basic civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods, including relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform Civil Engineering Drafting and Civil Engineering Design tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings skills, including creating plans, sections, elevations, and detailed layouts.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, architects, and site teams.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple drawing packages, and meet project timelines.
• Prior experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial projects in a drafting capacity is an advantage.
