About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Construction Supervisor role based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day site activities.
- Coordinating workers and subcontractors.
- Ensuring construction work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitoring progress.
- Conducting site inspections.
- Enforcing safety protocols.
- Resolving on-site issues in a timely manner.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Reporting on project status.
- Managing resources.
- Supporting adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Maintaining clear documentation.
- Communicating instructions and updates to the site team.
- Supporting compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Proven experience in site supervision.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with workers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Inspection abilities to review work quality, verify compliance with plans, and identify issues early.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and the ability to enforce safety standards on site.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a site supervisor or similar role in the construction industry is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in Mumbai is an advantage.
