About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Worker role based at Delhivery’s facility in Udhampur.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle parcels and freight, including loading and unloading vehicles.
• Sort and scan shipments.
• Prepare items for dispatch according to company procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Support operational teams to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and colleagues.
• Report any issues with shipments or equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation where required.
• Contribute to smooth warehouse operations and timely customer deliveries.

Qualifications

• Basic operational skills such as parcel handling, loading/unloading, and manual material movement.
• Basic documentation and accuracy skills, including reading labels, following instructions, and maintaining correct shipment records.
• Workplace safety and equipment-handling skills, such as safe lifting practices and careful use of tools and warehouse equipment (training can be provided).
• Teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with supervisors and coworkers and follow verbal and written directions.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in logistics or warehouse operations, willingness to work flexible shifts, basic numeric literacy, and a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
