About the Role

The Planning Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with project managers and engineering teams, and align planning activities with production and construction milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams.
• Align planning activities with production and construction milestones.
• Monitor project progress.
• Prepare status reports.
• Update planning documents.
• Support project control activities to ensure timelines, resources, and budgets are optimized.
• Analyze project data.
• Identify risks or delays.
• Propose mitigation measures.
• Communicate planning updates clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning processes.
• Support continuous improvement in project delivery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar software).

Qualifications

• Strong planning and production planning skills, with the ability to develop realistic schedules and resource plans.
• Analytical skills and project control capabilities to monitor progress, assess risks, and support data-driven decisions.
• Clear and professional communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Relevant experience in engineering or industrial projects, preferably in mechanical, structural, piping, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety practices, and basic cost control principles is an advantage.
