Role

• Business Development Intern: building your own customer base and distribution network, in person and online

Key Responsibilities

• Complete the IRDAI IC-38 certification and a structured 14-day training journey.
• Shadow experienced sales professionals in the field to learn prospecting and customer engagement.
• Identify prospects, generate leads and engage customers in person and through social media.
• Build a long-term career as a well-rounded financial advisor, with opportunities to expand across Health Insurance, Life Insurance (Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance), Housing Finance (Aditya Birla Housing Finance), and Asset Management (Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC).
• Create a sustainable recurring income stream beyond the internship period.
• Become an entrepreneur by building and scaling their own distribution business.
• Fast-track their career with ABHI, with PPO opportunities for exceptional performers.
• Pan-India Opportunity: Students from colleges across India are welcome to apply. The role involves field visits and visits to ABHI branch offices for on-ground learning and business development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• College students aged 18+, any discipline, any year
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated, target-oriented and comfortable with performance-linked earnings (no fixed stipend)
• Interest in sales, entrepreneurship or BFSI careers
• No prior experience needed; full training and certification are provided
• Performance-Linked Earnings: No fixed stipend. Earn approximately 15% of the premium per policy, with uncapped earning potential. A typical policy may generate around 6,000; top performers can earn 1 lakh+ during the internship.
