Accountant, NutraBlend

About the Role

This position performs a range of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Financial Analysis (GL), and administrative responsibilities for NutraBlend. The role involves significant direct communication with customers and exposure to various departments including Shared Services Accounting, IT, Customer Service, FP&A, Internal Audit, Legal, and Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Treasury (30%)
• Perform direct ship accounting functions for customer billing and vendor invoice processing.
• Provide timely and accurate vendor payments and customer invoicing.
• Recognize discrepancies, monitor open items, drive resolution, and provide customer service.
• Manage the Treasury process for initiating wire transfers to foreign vendors and maintaining compliance with W-8 reporting requirements.
• Provide back-up support to department members as needed.
• Financial Accounting & Analysis (30%)
• Perform financial accounting and analysis to report on the Nutra Blend Macros business unit.
• Run reports, perform analysis, and update narratives and commentary based on results for leadership.
• Tax Reporting (20%)
• Lead, develop, and perform consolidated tax reporting for all 3 Nutra Blend regions, including Sales and Use Tax, Tonnage Tax, and 1099 tax reporting.
• Lease Accounting (10%)
• Manage the CoStar Lease accounting process for Nutra Blend, working with the shared services fixed asset team and internal team members.
• Reconcile balances and research/resolve variances monthly.
• Accounts Payable Policy & Compliance (10%)
• Provide oversight of Accounts Payable policy (A200), ensuring all expenses are approved by appropriate managers.
• Reconcile and resolve policy conflicts.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; OR Associate’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting or analysis.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Cash Application is a plus.

Salary: $53,440 - $80,160
