SDK Developer, Android

About the Role

• Work on the SDK that powers Jio’s AI-enabled wearables, bridging native mobile apps to real hardware.
• Gain hands-on experience with device communication, firmware interaction, and platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features in the Native Android and/or iOS SDK with clean, testable, production-grade code.
• Work on the protocol layer connecting the SDK to Jio AI enabled wearables.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release verification.
• Debug issues spanning app, SDK, and device layers, and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Delivery on feature commits, code reviews, and sprint goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift).
• Openness to learning the other platform.
• Curiosity about how software talks to hardware.
• Bluetooth protocol experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Qualifications

• Any exposure to SDKs, shared libraries, or framework development.
• Familiarity with React Native or hardware-paired companion apps.
