This is a full-time remote role for a Software Developer. The Software Developer will design, implement, and maintain back-end services and APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. The role involves participating in architecture discussions, improving existing systems, documenting technical solutions, and contributing to automated testing and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a distributed team, proactively communicating progress and identifying opportunities to enhance the product and development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain back-end services and APIs.
• Write clean, testable code.
• Review peer code.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to refine requirements and deliver features.
• Participate in architecture discussions.
• Improve existing systems.
• Document technical solutions.
• Contribute to automated testing and deployment pipelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with testing practices (unit, integration, or automated tests) is beneficial.
• Basic CI/CD concepts are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience in Software Development and Programming.
• Practical understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
