Viget is an independent digital agency that brands, designs, and builds digital products and platforms.

About the Role

As an intern, you will experience key aspects of building a product by collaborating across discipline teams. You will join client meetings to experience presentations and consulting firsthand. You will get exposure to client work and have the opportunity to contribute to internal Viget initiatives. You will also meet regularly with your dedicated Advisor to discuss your progress on personalized learning goals. You will spend your summer working as part of Viget's award-winning design team. You will participate in all aspects of the design process with Viget’s clients including research, discovery, exploration, prototyping, and UI design.

Internship Details

• Location: Downtown Boulder, CO
• Duration: 10 weeks (June 7 to August 13)
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (flexible)

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the design process with clients: research, discovery, exploration, prototyping, and UI design.
• Collaborate across discipline teams.
• Join client meetings and experience presentations and consulting.
• Contribute to client work and internal Viget initiatives.
• Meet regularly with a dedicated Advisor to discuss progress on personalized learning goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch, or confidence in the ability to quickly become comfortable with these tools.
• Curiosity about the technologies used to build modern websites, apps, and other digital products.
• Awareness of the latest trends, methods, and tools in the web and tech industries.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile app design, web design, or digital product design.
• An exceptional design portfolio.
• Currently enrolled in college. Preference given to juniors and seniors.
• A track record of hard work and success (e.g., balancing school and work, leadership positions, high academic achievement).
• Ability to get things done, take responsibility, see tasks through, and take pride in a job well done.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for design, aesthetics, and usability.
• Permanent, legal right to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
