Data Analyst Intern

About the Role

This remote Data Analyst Intern role is an internship opportunity for individuals interested in using data to support strategic decision-making across consulting, technology, and media projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources.
• Support the creation of dashboards and reports.
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
• Perform basic statistical analysis.
• Build and test data models.
• Document methodologies.
• Present findings in clear formats for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with consultants, technologists, and marketing specialists to translate data insights into practical recommendations.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests as projects evolve.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or basic use of SQL, Python, or R is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
• Solid understanding of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to real-world data.
• Basic proficiency in Data Modeling and an interest in designing and improving data structures.
• Clear and effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team is important.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a demonstrated interest in business analytics and consulting are highly valued.
