Stock Support Associate/ Stock Runner

About the Role

The role of the Shoe Shiner/ Stock Runner provides professional shoe cleaning, polishing, and repair services to ensure customers’ footwear is well-maintained and presentable. They also offer advice on shoe care and sell related products. The position also involves back of house responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing excellent service by quickly locating merchandise and retrieving additional sizes, colors and options.
• Delivering and moving product between floors as needed for clients, associates, or back-stocking.
• Ensuring all merchandise is stocked and replenished on each sales floor in an efficient and precise manner.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Engaging clients with a friendly and warm attitude. Provides exceptional service to all clients.
• Participating in store inventory, cycle counts, and manual counts.
• Working across multiple floors and product category areas to support client and sales team requests.
• Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and stock room that meets both visual and operational standards.
• Assisting selling team with stock and size questions as needed.
• Organizing stock to optimize stock and inventory workflow, space utilization, and sales objectives in the store.
• Completing operational tasks related to inventory, transfers, and other tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to support the needs of the business.
• Supporting the shipping and receiving team with daily new receipts by placing incoming stock in the appropriate stockrooms following the established standards.
• Supporting with other operational duties as needed.
