About the Role
This full-time Automation Project Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Navi Mumbai, with the flexibility for some work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems, including PLC-based solutions, for industrial projects.
- Create control logic.
- Configure hardware and software.
- Conduct system testing.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues at client sites and remotely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Support project planning and execution.
- Ensure solutions meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Interact with clients to understand requirements.
- Provide technical support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of existing systems.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Process Control and Troubleshooting skills for industrial automation environments.
- Core Electrical Engineering skills related to control panels, wiring, instrumentation, and power systems.
- Robotics and motion control skills for integrating and maintaining automated equipment.
- Expertise in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, configuration, and commissioning.
- Experience with SCADA/HMI systems.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with safety standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
- Prior automation project experience is an advantage.
