About the Internship

Medinex Workforce manages extensive data including candidate profiles, client requirements, interview schedules, placement history, and billing records. All dashboards, trackers, and reports rely on efficient and accurate SQL queries. Slow or incorrect queries can lead to recruiter delays or inaccurate management reporting. In this internship, you will write and optimize SQL queries, learning to differentiate query performance.

What You Will Do

• Write SQL queries using joins, subqueries, aggregations, and window functions.
• Create views and stored procedures for recurring reports.
• Design small, well-structured tables with proper keys and relationships.
• Identify and improve slow queries using indexes and optimized query design.
• Prepare clean data extracts for the reporting and analytics team.
• Check data for duplicates, missing values, and inconsistent entries.
• Document tables and queries for clarity and reusability.
• Share progress in daily check-ins and weekly reviews.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong SQL basics (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, subqueries).
• Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Understanding of primary keys, foreign keys, and normalization.
• Logical, structured thinking.
• Habit of double-checking results before sharing.
• A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of indexes and query execution plans.
• Nice to have: Basic Excel or Python skills.
• Nice to have: A SQL practice profile on HackerRank or LeetCode, or a small database project.

Qualifications

• Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, B.Com, or any stream with strong SQL skills.
• Self-taught learners who can showcase a project or certificate.
• Freshers are welcome; prior experience is not required.
• Must be available full-time for the internship duration.

Internship Details

• Location: India
• Workplace Type: Remote
• Employment Type: Full-time internship
• Duration: 1 to 3 months
• Stipend: Up to INR 15,000 per month
• Working Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Saturday (or as assigned), with daily check-ins and weekly reviews.
