About the Role
A full-time, on-site Video Editor position for a political party's in-house Digital Media, Research & Creative Team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Responsibilities include editing short-form and long-form video for social platforms efficiently, often on the same day.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit reels, Shorts, explainers, interviews, and event coverage for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
- Transform raw footage into finished 30–60-second reels within hours on news-driven days.
- Add subtitles and captions, including Gujarati and Hindi.
- Perform colour grading, audio clean-up, and basic motion graphics.
- Deliver exports in all required aspect ratios and formats for social platforms.
- Maintain organized project files and footage for seamless handover.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Professional work experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- A portfolio showcasing at least three edited videos or reels.
- Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and storytelling for short-form video.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and accommodate occasional evening or weekend work for scheduled events.
Nice to Have
- After Effects or motion design skills.
- Experience editing news, political, or public-interest content.
- Reading knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
