About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Connectivity Test Engineer with expertise in wireless connectivity validation, interoperability testing, and connected device ecosystems. The role involves hands-on testing with real hardware, ensuring seamless communication across devices, mobile platforms, and smart connected environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and connectivity validation test cases.
- Perform interoperability (IOP) testing across multiple devices and platforms.
- Validate OTA/FOTA updates and connectivity stability.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and log defects in JIRA.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity-related issues.
- Prepare test reports and ensure quality, coverage, and validation targets are met.
Requirements & Tech Stack
Connectivity Testing & Validation
- Strong experience in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi testing and validation.
- Hands-on experience in interoperability (IOP) testing across different devices and platforms.
- Experience validating connectivity performance, reliability, and stability.
Embedded & IoT Testing
- Experience in Embedded Systems Testing and Validation.
- Hands-on experience with IoT and connected device testing.
- Understanding of connected device ecosystems and communication workflows.
OTA/FOTA & Quality Assurance
- Experience validating OTA/FOTA software updates.
- Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and reporting.
Debugging & Analysis
- Experience in troubleshooting connectivity issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Ability to analyze logs, identify failures, and support issue resolution.
Qualifications
Experience in Smart Home or Consumer Electronics testing.
Knowledge of Matter protocol and Home Automation ecosystems.
Python scripting for test automation and validation.
Experience in debugging and log analysis tools.
