About the Role
The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and enhancing the salon’s interior spaces to reflect the brand’s creative, trendsetting identity. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing design concepts.
- Preparing drawings and material boards.
- Coordinating with architects and contractors.
- Selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with the salon’s brand.
- Overseeing implementation on-site, ensuring quality execution.
- Managing timelines.
- Collaborating closely with the salon leadership to maintain a cohesive and memorable client experience.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Space Planning and Interior Design skills.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles.
- Experience collaborating with architectural and construction teams.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings.
- Experience in FF&E selection (furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and materials).
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with 3D visualization.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creativity.
- Ability to balance aesthetics with functionality in commercial spaces.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site.
- Ability to manage vendors and contractors.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience designing retail or salon environments is an advantage.
