About the Role
- 6-month internship position for an Accounts & Tax Intern.
- Opportunity to gain practical exposure in accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance under a Chartered Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and filing GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Prepare and file income tax returns (ITR).
- Calculate TDS, file returns, and perform reconciliations.
- Maintain bookkeeping records and pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and scrutinize ledgers.
- Support statutory and internal audit processes.
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheet and profit & loss.
- Reconcile GST 2B with books of accounts.
- Draft responses to income tax and GST notices.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance records are updated.
