Investment Analyst Intern

About the Role

Udyat Ventures is the Family Office of Udyat Group, a diversified global conglomerate. Their investment arm actively backs early-stage tech startups from Seed to Pre-Series A, typically investing $500K–$1.5M, and also supporting smaller, high-potential companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate early-stage startups across sectors and analyze their business models, traction, and scalability.
• Participate in pitch meetings and contribute to internal discussions during deal evaluations.
• Conduct deep-dive sector and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities and macro trends.
• Prepare investment memos, research reports, and investment theses to support decision-making.
• Assist in due diligence across financial, business, and operational aspects.
• Track portfolio performance and help in ongoing monitoring work.
• Support operational and administrative tasks within the investment workflow.
• Maintain and update internal databases for deal flow, portfolio tracking, and market intelligence.
• Draft investment material including investment memos, theses, notes, and research reports.
• Conduct sector research, market mapping, and competitive landscaping for emerging industries.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong interest in startups, venture capital, and technology-driven businesses.
• Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to break down complex problems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and basic financial analysis.
• Ability to create structured research reports, presentations, and investment memos.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
