About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Process Engineer role based in Ranippettai. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes for PU soles and related products, ensuring consistent quality and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing process performance.
- Troubleshooting issues on the production lines.
- Implementing process control strategies.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to introduce new designs, scale up processes, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Documenting process parameters.
- Preparing technical reports.
- Contributing to technology upgrades and best practices within the plant.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Process Engineering knowledge relevant to polymer or PU manufacturing.
- Skills in Process Design and Process Control.
- Solid Analytical Skills.
- Experience with process monitoring tools, basic statistical analysis, and ERP or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, ideally in footwear, polymers, chemicals, or similar process industries.
- Freshers are also welcome.
- Understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations in a plant environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
