About the Role
The Data Analyst intern will support the team by collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to enable accurate analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Run exploratory analyses.
- Build basic reports and dashboards.
- Help interpret data trends for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing visualizations and summaries that communicate insights clearly.
- Support data-informed decisions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and identify patterns.
- Knowledge of Statistics to support hypothesis testing, basic forecasting, and data validation.
- Understanding of Data Modeling concepts to organize data logically and support reporting needs.
- Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and learn new tools quickly.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Hybrid work arrangement in Kolkata.
