About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and provide information on features, prices, and promotions.
• Maintain merchandise displays and stock shelves.
• Organize inventory.
• Ensure the store is clean and presentable.
• Process sales transactions at the checkout.
• Handle returns or exchanges in line with store policy.
• Support loss-prevention efforts by following security procedures.
• Work with team members to meet sales targets.
• Learn about new products.
• Deliver consistent, courteous service to all customers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation: ability to engage professionally and handle inquiries or concerns with patience.
• Basic sales and retail operation skills: understanding promotions, assisting with upselling, and supporting daily store activities.
• Good communication skills: clear spoken English and local language abilities; capacity to work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and reliability: handling cash, processing transactions accurately, and following store procedures.
• Physical ability: ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Teamwork and flexibility: willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Prior retail or customer-facing experience is an advantage but not always required; training may be provided.
• Minimum educational qualification typically at the high school level or equivalent.
