About the Role

The Human Resources Intern role at HK Technical is a remote internship focused on supporting daily HR operations and initiatives. This role offers exposure to practical HR processes in a growing Ed-Tech organization and opportunities to learn about HR management in a digital, knowledge-sharing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining employee records.
• Help implement HR policies.
• Coordinate basic onboarding activities.
• Organize HR documentation.
• Support communication related to employee benefits.
• Contribute to personnel data updates.
• Collaborate with HR team members on small projects.
• Research HR best practices.
• Help prepare reports or summaries for management.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfort with digital tools, spreadsheets, and online collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with HR software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in developing practical HR skills.
• Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, or willingness to learn and apply policy guidelines.
• Basic experience or coursework related to Personnel Management and employee lifecycle processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in Ed-Tech, education, or technology-driven organizations is beneficial.
