About the Role
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is a full-time, on-site role responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms.
- Make beds.
- Dust surfaces.
- Vacuum rooms.
- Replenish guest amenities.
- Ensure bathrooms meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas.
- Handle guest laundry requests.
- Report maintenance issues.
- Follow established procedures for safety and sanitation.
- Organize housekeeping carts.
- Manage linen inventory.
- Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
- Adhere to hotel policies.
- Manage time efficiently.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front office teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong housekeeping skills
- Laundry operations experience (sorting, washing, drying, handling linens and guest clothing)
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move carts and supplies for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Training may be provided.
