About the Role
Wert Group is a management consulting firm in Boston that advises owners and management teams on strategy, organization design, operating models, and governance. This is a full-time, remote role open anywhere in the U.S. You will maintain and build internal tools for projects, including a staffing planner, a client data room, and scripts for processing client exports.
Key Responsibilities
- Add features and fix bugs in internal web apps using TypeScript and Python.
- Write scripts to clean client data exports and load them into an analysis database.
- Write tests for code and conduct pull requests with the senior developer.
- Deploy through the CI pipeline to Azure, and maintain documentation and setup guides.
- Collaborate with consultants to understand their needs.
- Resolve reported data and access problems.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript (from a job, internship, or personal projects).
- Experience with Git and pull requests.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience with a computer science or related degree, or a coding bootcamp plus a portfolio.
Nice to Have
- React or another front-end framework.
- Azure or AWS.
- Experience with spreadsheets or data exports from business systems.
