About the Role
The UI/ECommerce Intern is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design and development of user interfaces for eCommerce platforms and web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the creation of UI mockups and visual design assets.
- Collaborating with designers and developers to refine user flows.
- Contributing to prototypes that bring concepts to life.
- Working closely with the front-end development team to ensure design consistency, usability, and responsiveness across devices.
- Gathering user feedback.
- Documenting design specifications.
- Supporting continuous improvements to the overall user experience and conversion funnel.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Mockups and Visual Design to create clear, engaging interface concepts and layouts.
- Skills in Prototyping and User Experience Design (UED) to translate ideas into interactive experiences and optimize usability.
- Skills in Front-End Development to implement UI designs using modern web technologies.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles.
- Ability to collaborate in a remote environment, communicate clearly, and manage tasks independently.
- Exposure to eCommerce platforms, analytics tools, or conversion optimization is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
