About the Role
You'll help create our medical content from research to finished piece. This involves reading studies, finding the story, writing scripts, and producing content into video, audio, and social formats. You are part medical writer, part producer, and excited to dig into major research or news breaks.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and critically appraise clinical literature across therapeutic areas, including trials, reviews, and guidelines.
- Develop and pitch story ideas, then write scripts for short-form video, long-form explainers, podcasts, and social media.
- Assist in content production: plan shoots, prepare experts, support interviews, write shot lists, and collaborate with editors on cuts.
- Track developments in medicine and the health market, including approvals, label changes, pipeline readouts, pricing, coverage, and policy, to create timely content.
- Write a regular trend brief for internal teams.
- Fact-check all content and maintain a source file for each piece.
- Collaborate with clinical reviewers, designers, and the social team on publishing and distribution.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Medical writing, medical communications, health content production, or a related field. Recent graduates with strong writing samples are encouraged to apply.
- Writing samples are required.
- Produced work (video, audio, or multimedia) is a plus, including student or personal projects.
- Comfort reading medical research and literature, including trial data: endpoints, effect sizes, confidence intervals, and study limitations.
- Ability to break down complex medical topics for a general audience without losing accuracy.
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar therapeutic areas.
- Experience writing scripts for the ear: short sentences, clear structure, and avoiding jargon.
- Experience writing scripts for social media: strong hooks, pacing for short-form video, and adapting content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Understanding of social media algorithms: what drives reach, watch time, and engagement, and using analytics to improve content.
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience.
- Strong writing samples are required.
- Produced work (video, audio, or multimedia) is a plus.

- On-camera or voiceover experience.
- Motion graphics skills.
- Experience with health-content regulations or editorial standards.
