Forward Deployed Engineer Intern

About the Role

The Forward Deployed Engineer Intern will work closely with client-facing and internal teams to design, build, and support software solutions that address real-world business challenges. This is a remote internship role, offering hands-on experience in a consulting environment with mentorship from experienced engineers and the opportunity to contribute to active client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement back-end features.
• Write clean and maintainable code.
• Debug and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to integration of services and APIs.
• Participate in technical discussions.
• Assist in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Help test and document solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Go).
• Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in practical projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate through online tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
