About the Role
Flex is seeking an Associate Engineer, Environmental in Chennai to support its extraordinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collection, analysis, and archival of component information related to Environmental Compliance through Assent Compliance Management.
- Interaction with manufacturers worldwide to collect Environmental declarations and provide guidance on Compliance information requested by the Requestor.
- Support for Supplier Quality Engineers, Commodity Management, Procurement, and Design Engineering teams regarding Environmental Compliance.
- Handling regulation changes in ACM and forecasting the risk of affected parts for the Product Environment Compliance team to alert the site.
- Provide training to suppliers on Environmental Compliance requirements based on customer needs.
- Coordinate with the Global Environmental Compliance team for the resolution of new requirements from customers or compliance-related queries from the site.
- Support the organization in regulatory compliance, internal, and third-party audits.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
- MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS Word).
Qualifications
- Minimum 0 - 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing set up, preferably in the EMS industry.
- Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering / EEE / Mechanical.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good team player.
