About the Role
Toffee Coffee Roasters is seeking a friendly, hands-on Barista to join the opening team of their upcoming grab-and-go coffee kiosk in Bengaluru. This is a full-time position for individuals who enjoy making coffee, interacting with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, cold coffees, and signature beverages to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist customers with coffee selection, menu explanations, and recommendations for food pairings and combos.
- Handle counter orders, billing, digital payments, and app-based pickup orders accurately.
- Serve and pack food and beverages neatly, ensuring quick and accurate order handovers.
- Maintain hygiene across the coffee station, equipment, utensils, and service counter.
- Follow opening and closing checklists, including machine cleaning and daily stock checks.
- Monitor ingredients, packaging, and food freshness; flag replenishment needs and minimise wastage.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and coffee equipment.
- Attention to cleanliness, consistency, and order accuracy.
- Comfort with POS systems and digital orders.
Qualifications
- Ideally 6 months–2 years of experience as a barista or in café operations, specifically at leading chains like Starbucks, Third Wave etc.
- A warm, customer-first attitude and clear communication skills.
