Role Description
UST is looking for a Validation Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring Microsoft Operating systems.
- Identifying test cases from the available set.
- Reproducing failures reported in required platform configurations and defect management.
- Attending client meetings, understanding requirements clearly, and working with systems on racks.
- Executing test cases and understanding various Windows products features.
- Assembling and troubleshooting computer systems.
- Understanding, articulating, and isolating issues observed during test execution.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good understanding of Platform ingredients for post silicon.
- Basic knowledge in:
- System BIOS
- UEFI framework and architecture
- USB
- Multimedia
- Driver
- Camera
- Disk
- Desktop
- Power management
- Type C
- Silicon technologies
- Knowledge of various:
- Benchmark tools
- Stress & Stability
- Power Management
- Ability to analyze system Power states and Device states.
- Understanding and analyzing Test strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for analyzing and debugging issues.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills to work with different teams.
