About the Role
FatafatService is building a technology-driven ecosystem for India’s rapidly growing appliance ownership economy. This is a full-time, on-site role for a MERN Stack Developer based in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Implement front-end interfaces.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs.
- Integrate third-party services.
- Ensure responsive, high-performance user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Monitor application performance.
- Troubleshoot issues.
- Contribute to deployment workflows.
- Follow best practices for security and data integrity.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong proficiency in MERN stack technologies, including MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with front-end development concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and component-based architecture.
- Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Experience handling server-side logic and working with JSON-based data exchange.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with basic DevOps practices for deployment and monitoring.
- Understanding of web application security.
- Understanding of performance optimization.
- Understanding of scalable architecture patterns.
- Experience working with databases (NoSQL and/or SQL).
- Experience with data modeling.
- Experience with query optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort collaborating in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Prior experience building consumer-facing platforms, marketplace applications, or service ecosystems is a plus.
