About the Role
The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and under the direction of supervisors. This role supports residents in Assisted Living, AL Memory Care, and Independent Living.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making/changing unoccupied beds.
- Provides resident assistance with activities of daily living, including hygiene care, incontinence assistance, bathing, and grooming.
- Assists with all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Answers residents' call lights promptly.
- Ensures frequent checks on residents unable to call for help.
- Assists clinical staff to make residents comfortable (e.g., checking sitting position, passing hydration).
- Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.
