About the Role
- Store Management Trainee
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a customer-focused environment
- Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations
- Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members
- Support recruiting and talent development efforts
- Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures
- Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation
- Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals
- Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making
- Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories
- Complete management training and development assignments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience (1 year minimum preferred)
- Basic math and computer skills
- Experience with retail point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Experience with a variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more
- Experience with firearms (certification provided in FFL locations)
Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise
- Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas

Compensation & Benefits
- $13.00 - $21.00 per hour
- Unlimited Commission (2-8% based on individual performance)
