About the Role
7-Eleven is seeking an Assistant Store Leader Trainee to join their management team. This role offers full-time hours, valuable management and leadership experience, and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
- Maintain high employee retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
- Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
- Handle cash and fuel transactions.
- Promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure the store is presentable and products are in-stock.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
- Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred: Word, Excel).
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence.
- Maintain automotive liability insurance during the course of employment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience is desired.
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
